Nomtha Menye

Research assistant

Nomtha Menye is a Research assistant at the Centre for Women and Gender at Nelson Mandela University. She is a Sociology master’s Candidate in the department of Sociology and Anthropology.

She is also the former SRC South Campus premier (2017) Nelson Mandela University and the Founder of Activist Connexions. Her research interests include Eco-feminism and the spiritual significance of water in Africa.
